Eagar Arizona....we have a few grocery stores, two dollar stores, an Alco, a Drug Store/fishing and hunting, and quite a few places to buy feed. Oh and it's 4 hours away from the nearest mall and even Walmart is an hour away.
Ya it's a little hard to hit the sales, but luckily I've got the internet! It's been a life saver, plus it feels like Christmas everyday! I get a new package and the wrapping paper and bubbles get thrown across the room and I get to try on all my pretty new cloths, but Santa's not quite so generous this time of year....He always sends a statement in the box and my bank account is quickly diminishing. hmmmmm....
But it's been difficult finding some good clothes! I've received some really good advice from other sister missionaries about what to get. But let's face it. I've never been to Rome and I have no clue what kind of clothes I need to get! My mission president's letter was pretty helpful and I've read about weather online, but I'm a stresser (we'll talk more about that another day) and I don't wanna look like a frumpy 'ole sister missionary, but I still want to be comfortable and modest. But here's what I've come up with so far.

Mom's closet, JC Penny sale rack, Downeast Basics, DeB, DeB, BYU-I bookstore, and JC Penny.
Cardigans: I LOVE cardigans! Most of the time you can put a cardi over almost any top and change up the style of it. I've got 3 short sleeve, 3 long sleeve and one lace cardi. I figured I would use them for most of my outfits either with just a plain T or a blouse. You can also layer with a cute scarf or necklace.
Top Left-Right: Already had, Ross, already had, Christmas
Bottom Left-Right: Christmas, Ross, already had.
These scarfs will go with pretty much any of my outfits and they're great for changing up an outfit.
Cute hat for the winter.
Belts! I've come to love belts! And I forgot one of my super cute ones, but they're great for skirts and dresses.
Lace slip extenders. I'm planning on sewing my own, but I found the idea on Pintrest and I think it's one of the greatest items ever invented! It'll help lengthen those skirts that aren't quite long enough! I'm going to make a white, creme, and black one. I'll update ya when they're done. http://sexymodest.ecwid.com/simple-store
Tops: I didn't get too many tops because I'm planning on mostly wearing cardi's and T's, but these tops could, for the most part, be paired with any of my skirts. And for the two lace ones' I'll have to wear a T under, but man it was hard finding tops that you didn't have to wear some sort of undershirt with!

Shoes: Probably THE most important purchase for any missionary. At least for me, I'm not in a visitors center so I'm going to be doing LOT's of walking. I found a great brand called Neutrilizers, they're super comfy and they aren't too frumpy (they're cuter in person). My mission let's me wear sandals! woo! My FAVORITE! But most of the cute sandals were flat arched and that would have been killer on my feet, but I found a pair of Clarks that have great arch support and are cute! The pink Nikes I already had, and the boots are also Neutralizers. All my shoes were a bit pricey, but I figured it was worth the money! I ordered all of my shoes off Amazon. I have an Amazon Prime membership which gives me free 2 day shipping and has an awesome return policy.
Dresses: I love dresses! You don't have to worry about a ton of different layers and they're usually nice and flowy and great for the summer. I usually put a belt around my waist with these dresses and most of my belts will go with all of these.
Left to right: BYU-I bookstore, Downeast Basics, local boutique.
Wonder T's: Life.savers. I'm pretty sure these fancy t's were made for sister missionaries. They cover garments perfectly and come in practically every color. I got quite a few of them because, like I said, most of my blouses need an undershirt and they go great with a cardigan.
Well that's what I've got so far and I've still got to get some of the little things.
Now I'm no fashionista and probably never will be, but this is what I think is going to work for me!
Amore,
Sorella Wiltbank <3
