66 Days

66 days.... just 66..... I started off at 131 and I'm exactly half way there, but man this wait is KILLING ME!!! I just wanna get out there and start serving! I want to spread the gospel and share the light of Christ with the people in Italy.

On February 2nd I went through the Snowflake Temple to receive my endowments. It was so amazing to be in the house of the Lord and I felt the spirit so strongly. I'm so grateful that I have a temple so close and that I can attend regularly. I'm so glad I was able to have my family and close friends be there for me. We were missing the Smith's and the Wilkins in the pictures, but it was so awesome to have my seminary teacher be there and teach us about the temple, inside the temple.

There's currently a temple being built in Rome and it's scheduled to be done in 2014 and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be there for the dedication! But it's so amazing that the members of the church are able to have a temple being built in their area. I can only imagine how excited they are. The growth of the church in that part of the world is so amazing. Seeing the progress of those people from the time that Paul taught them, to now is a witness of the Lord's hand and it just goes to show that the work is progressing!

These guys. Man am I glad that they are here! They're waiting to leave for their missions also and we're all stuck in the same boat. Stuck in this little town, during the winter, all of our friends are off to school or already on their missions, and we all have the anxiety of just wanting to get out there already! Dallin Goodman (left) is getting ready to leave in March for Columbia and Cade Mortensen (right) left a few weeks ago for the Philippines. We've had quite a few adventures and good times and these guys are going to make AWESOME missionaries.

Missionary scripture of the week:
D&C 29:4

"Verily, I say unto you that ye are chosen out of the world to declare my gospel with the sound of rejoicing, as with the voice of a trump"
