I haven't gotten the package, but I can't wait!
{I'm including the pictures I sent her since she didn't send any to us this week.} :(
That activity looks like it was so much fun!! I am so happy that it all worked out. Colten's car looks so cute! I hope he is still drawing, he really has a talent for that! {We had a stake youth party - a "drive-in" movie in the cultural hall and a dance. There was a contest to see who could make the best cardboard box car for the "drive-in". Colten got 3rd place.}

I am proud of Trayser for getting his Eagle done, good for him! Has he come up with a plan B yet? Oh and why does dad look so sad in that picture? Is he doing okay?
{Not sad... Just looking down when the picture was taken.} :)
This week has been CRAZY!
On Pday the Steurers were so nice and took us to Porta Di Roma. (the mall) And we got stuff from Ikea for our apartments, they took us to lunch, and we got to go grocery shopping at Auchan! Wooo (it's kinda like the walmart of Italy, they have all that you need in one store, which is really rare for Italy, so it was nice :)
We also had to do 2 scambios (exchanges) 2 days in a row! So I left for Rome 3 during lunch, then the next day we came home for 15 minutes so I could get a new change of clothes and then I was off for Rome 1. It was so tiring, but we saw lots of miracles and it was nice to get out and see the other areas of Rome.
On Tuesday we had a party for our English course students, that was fun!
Work is going well. Because we did 2 scambios this week we didn't have much time to do a lots of things, but we did get one new investigator. Her name is Jessie and we met her in English Course. She is in her 20's and she is from Peru. I love that girl! And she loves me. We have this cool connection. Almost like we knew each other in the pre-existence. I know, it sounds cheesy. But we just click! And I am really excited to teach her more. The anziani actually passed her off to us, so she already has a baptismal date for April 5th!
Next week we are going to be really busy again. We have a mission conference on Wednesday with Elder Kearon from the 70. And we have about half of the mission coming here to Rome, so we will be busy getting things ready and taking missionaries to and from the train station and the conference and home. Fun right??
I am trying to think of something fun or crazy that happened this week...but nothing is coming to mind. I am sorry I am so boring this week! I also didn't even take any pictures!
This week I have been thinking about the blessings that come from the mission. And I was thinking about all of the blessing that I have seen so far. Mostly the blessing of knowledge. I have learned so much from this time in the mission. About life, about God, about who I am. And this week there were so many instances where I was reminded that the mission is going to be a blessing to me not only now, but for the rest of my life.
Luke 18:29-30:
29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,I think sometimes we don't fully see the blessings that the Lord gives us. There is a quote in Preach my Gospel that has had a big impression on me this week, "God promises to bless us and we promise to obey him." Receiving blessings is that easy. We obey God. Basta. And not just a few blessing, but an outpouring of blessings. So Just do it. Obey the commandments, follow the promptings of the spirit, and I promise you, you won't regret it.
30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Love you guys! Have a great week!
